Jeffries Earns OCCAC Player of the Week Honors

Howard Jeffries is the fourth different Triceratops to wrangle the conference's player of the week honor this season. He filled it up with 67 points in a pair of Tops victories. The freshman power forward ignited the week with 43 points on 17-of-26 shooting, including 5-of-10 from beyond the arc, versus Lorain County. He then came back a few days later to deliver 24 more points at Edison State. Along with his 33.5 points/game clip, Jeffries tallied eight rebounds, two assists, two steals and two blocks while committing just two turnovers in 71 total minutes.

The Tops travel to Lakeland CC tomorrow for a key OCCAC matchup with the Lakers.  Tip time is set for 7:30 pm
