MBK: Tops Defeat Chargers, 92-79

Ezra Mckee led the Triceratops Men's Basketball team to a key road OCCAC victory on Saturday afternoon at Edison State. Mckee finished with 28 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists returning to the lineup after being out with an injury.

Joining Mckee in double figures were: Howard Jeffries (24 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists, a steal and a block), Devonte Greene (12 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists) and Donovan Coffey (10 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists).  Marcos Vasquez led the team with 5 assists.

With the win, the Tops move into the coveted top three in the OCCAC (automatic regional bid) with a 19-6 overall record and 8-3 in the OCCAC. The Tops will again be on the road with a short trip to rival Lakeland on Wednesday evening at 7:30 before returning home next Saturday for a 1 pm game with Owens.
