Haid Nabs Final OCCAC Player of the Week Honors!
Devin Haid was announced Monday afternoon as the final OCCAC Player of the Week as voted on by the conference. As the team heads into the postseason, Haid was a deserving candidate.
Haid and the Triceratops secured their spot in the postseason with two league wins last week. The freshman registered a double-double in both contests, averaging 18.5 points and 11.0 rebounds per game. Haid opened the week with 16 points and 10 rebounds in just 23 minutes of a lopsided win over Terra State. He then stayed on the court for 39 minutes with 21 points, 12 rebounds and five assists in a tightly-contested 86-78 triumph at Clark State. For the week, Haid shot 52% (14-27) from the floor and knocked down 8-of-9 foul shots.
