Haid Earns OCCAC Player of the Week

Devin Haid (Cuyahoga) was a unanimous choice for this week's OCCAC Player of the Week recognition (Jan. 23-29). Haid is a first-time honoree.

Haid exploded for 56 points in two Triceratops triumphs, shooting nearly 70 percent (22-32) from the floor and knocking down all 11 foul shots. In addition to averaging 28.0 points, he had per-game clips of 4.5 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 1.5 steals while committing just four turnovers in 71 total minutes played.

Haid is averaging 19.8 points per game on the season which ranks him 27th in NJCAA Division II.

The team is 17-4 and resumes play this week with a short trip to Ursuline College where they will take on Bryant and Stratton with tip off scheduled at 6:30 pm.
