Ron Mottl Field – The Triceratops continued their dominant season with a 9-1 win over the Walsh University Cavaliers, extending their winning streak to an impressive 20 games. Kohan Merritt was a key contributor, driving in three RBIs and scoring two runs on two hits, including his eighth double of the season. Merritt's performance was instrumental in maintaining the offensive momentum that has propelled the team throughout their winning streak.

A trio of pitches led by Dylan Allamon (1-0) turned in a stellar performance on the mound, striking out 10 batters while allowing just one earned run throughout the game. Allamon's performance not only showcased his skills but also reflected the team's consistent ability to execute on both sides of the ball.

Coach Kyle Stahlberg praised the collective effort of his team, emphasizing their continued focus and preparation. "It's becoming a theme around the team. Every phase challenges the next to perform one inning at a time," said Stahlberg. "We are in a nice groove, and the effort shows daily in our preparation, our practices, and it spills over into our games."

Pat Farrell also contributed offensively, collecting three hits, whileJackson Boles added two RBIs, further deepening the Triceratops' offensive attack.

Key Moment:
After the Cavaliers managed to score in the top of the first inning, the Triceratops responded swiftly with a four-run explosion in the bottom of the fourth, taking control of the game and never looking back.

Key Stat:
This victory marks the first time in Cuyahoga Community College history, since the return of sports, that any team has achieved a 20-game winning streak.

The Triceratops will host a doubleheader against Clark State Community College on April 4th. The first pitch is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. at Ron Mottl Field, located at 1100 West Pleasant Valley Road, Parma, Ohio 44130.
