Basketball Can't Handle Strong Cuyahoga Team
Erie Community College basketball hosted Cuyahoga Community College in a double header at the Burt Flickinger Center on Sunday. Neither the men or women could find the answer to the strong Triceratops offense.
The men fell 75-59. The first half of the game was a tight back and forth contest with the Kats down by just four points going into the break. Tri-C came out in the second half firing on all cylinders and quickly added to their lead and Erie could never recover. Erie struggled to find their rhythm in the game, shooting just 38.6%
David Stroud was the stand out Kat again, putting up 13 points and nine rebounds. Julienn Clements was the only other Kat in double digits with 10 points.
On the women's side, Cuyahoga jumped into an early lead and never looked back, defeating Erie with a final score of 93-35. Skye Lee was the leader for the Kats, scoring 20 points and snagging eight rebounds.
The Kats are home again on Saturday, February 15th when they host Monroe Community College. The women tip off at 1:00 pm with the men scheduled for 3:00 pm.
