Hawk Talk is a Hocking College sharing event that provides a platform for Hocking College faculty and staff to share their reflections, experiences and suggestions with their colleagues to encourage and maintain a growing learning environment for everyone. The general format of a Hawk Talk is similar to that of a TED Talk – an uninterrupted oral presentation delivered under 20 minutes. Presenters are encouraged to deliver a presentation that of about three to four major ideas connecting their work and life experiences with their values. Each Hawk Talk is scheduled for delivery during the first 30 minutes of the monthly In-Person Communications Meetings held at the Lodge at Hocking College.
