Thunderwolves win fourth in a row

SUNY Niagara shot 47 percent from the field and had five players reach double figures in an 89-73 non-conference victory over visiting Cuyahoga Community College on Saturday afternoon.

The Thunderwolves, ranked No. 13 in the most recent NJCAA Div. II poll, improved to 21-4 overall. Tri-C, meanwhile, fell to 15-9.

Freshman Chioke Marshall had a team-best 20 points to go with six assists and four rebounds. Sophomore Jalen Duff finished with 18 points and eight boards and classmate Jamyier Patton netted 15 points off the bench.

Sophomore Daniel Reyes finished with 12 points and five rebounds and second-year swingman Camron Dyer chipped in with 11 points, seven boards and three blocks. 

The Wolfpack is back in action at 7 p.m. Wednesday for a Western New York Athletic Conference rematch vs. nationally-ranked Monroe Community College.
