March 8, 2025 - The Kishwaukee College softball team opened up their Spring trip in Florida Saturday. In game one, Kish defeated Cuyahoga (OH) CC 10-1.  Bella Koertner scored three runs and stole two bases while teammates Ana-Kate Phillips went 3-4 with a homerun and 2 RBI, Laila Anderson went 1-2 with a run scored, Abby Stoffa had a run scored plus Kailey Goetz, Reilee Suter and Crystal Haack finished with 2 RBI each. Alyssa Wilkerson piked up the win in the circle allowing just 1 ER while striking out six.  Game two had the Kougars sweeping the day's games with a 12-4 win over Mid-Michigan CC.  Koertner went a perfect 4-4 with three runs scored and 2 RBI, Haack 2-3 with 3 RBI and 2 runs scored, Goetz went 2-4 along with 2 RBI, while Haley Von Schnase went 1-3 and a run scored and Tyra Smith 2-3 while scoring 2 runs. Kyra Johnson also had a runs scored ang got the victory pitching getting six strikeouts.
