Ocelots Top Triceratops in Region 12 Matchup

LIVONIA, MI – The Ocelots hosted region 12 foe, Cuyahoga Community College. The matchup functioned as a rematch from last year's Region 12 semi-final game.

Schoolcraft would come out looking to make a statement across the region. It took just 13 minutes for Schoolcraft to get on the board as Nino Schembri would connect on his 1^st goal of the game. Just a mere 2 minutes later, Adriano Shauya would double the Schoolcraft lead to 2. Following goals by Daniel Patino (19^th  minute) and Nikolas Nareike (33^rd minute), the Ocelots would take a commanding 4-0 leading heading into the 15-minute halftime break.

Coming out of halftime, the Ocelots were continuing to try and expand their lead, in the 55^th minute, Schembri would score his 2^nd goal of the game to push the Schoolcraft lead to 5. A minute later, Cuyahoga would get on the board before Adechina Moussedikou would get that goal back. That would be it in the scoring column as Schoolcraft would take the Region 12 game 6-1.

It was a 3-headed monster in net for the Ocelots as Alexander Heitsch, Vedad Vila and Fredi Mece would all see time in net, all making 2 saves.

The Ocelots return to the pitch on Sunday as they host a Patrick and Henry team that was receiving votes in the latest NJCAA rankings. Kick-off is slated for 4:00 PM.
