Commodores Sweep Tri-C For Second OCCAC Win

September 12, 2024 - - The Lorain County Community College women's volleyball team got back in the win column Wednesday evening after sweeping the Cuyahoga Community College Triceratops at the Eastern Campus Gymnasium of Tri-C.   

In a dominant showing against their neighboring county rival, the Commodores hit .208 as a team, had seven blocks, and 12 services aces.  They won the first three sets 25-22, 25-16, and 25-21 moving them to 3-5 on the year and 2-1 in the Ohio Community College Athletic Conference.

Paige Grobolsek (Sheffield Village, Ohio/Brookside HS): 12 digs, 7 service aces

Nilaysia Todd (Lorain, Ohio/Clearview HS): 6 kills, 3 blocks
